Name of Drug

Helichrysi flos, sandy everlasting, immortelle.

Composition of Drug

Immortelle consists of the dried flowers of Helichrysum arenarium (L.) Moench [Fam. Asteraceae], gathered shortly before fully unfolding, as well as their preparations in effective dosage.

The drug contains flavonoids.


Peptic discomforts.


Obstruction of bile ducts.

In case of gallstones, to be used only after consultation with a physician.

3 g of drug; equivalent preparations. Mode of Administration Comminuted herb for teas and other galenical preparations for internal use.


Mildly choleretic.
