Name of Drug

Alchemillae herba, lady's mantle.

Composition of Drug

Lady's mantle herb consists of the fresh or dried, above-ground parts of Alchemilla vulgaris L. [Fam. Rosaceae], gathered at flowering time, as well as its preparations in effective dosage.

The herb contains tannins and flavonoids.


Light and nonspecific diarrhea.

Average daily dosage:

5 - 10 g of herb; equivalent preparations. Mode of Administration Cut herb for infusions and decoctions, as well as other galenical preparations for internal use.
